Our Mission

 We are the Somali Relief Society for Disabled and Orphans (SRSDO). We are registered here in the UK as a Relief Organization. We make some Projects in Africa and in the UK.


The object of the CIO are: 

 1. The preservation and protection of health and welfare and relief of poverty of vulnerable communities and people, including refugees, in

The object of the CIO are: 

 1. The preservation and protection of health and welfare and relief of poverty of vulnerable communities and people, including refugees, internally displaced persons, disabled persons, children, women and other individuals in need, in East Africa in particular but not exclusively by providing food, education and health facilities, care and support for the public benefit. 

 2. The advancement of wellbeing of the people with disability in Ethiopia, Somalia, Kenya and United Kingdom, through alignment with the Human Rights act 1998 and the United Nations convention on the rights of persons with disability (2006) in particular but not limited to.

 3. The organisation SRSDO not only support the disabled people and orphans of East Africa, but also support the disabled immigrants who have come to the UK. We need to help them for job marketing, to support local housing, medication and language learning for integration. The organisation members also visit these people once or twice a month to discuss their needs. 

The Chairman of SRSDO himself is disabled- he sits in a wheelchair. The reason he understands the disabled people is because he can relate to them. Additionally, the organisation is focused on the area in and around London. I. II. reducing barriers, be they physical, social, cultural, legislative, attitudinal, economic or other, that may impede the participation and inclusion of people with a disability in society; engaging with relevant entities and stakeholders to advance the interests of people with a disability Nothing in this constitution shall authorise an application of the property of the CIO for the purposes which are not charitable in accordance with [section 7 of the Charities and Trustee Investment ( Scotland) Act 2005] and [section 2 of the Charities Act (Northern Ireland) 2008].
